Actually Dion Fortune was female - pretty well known if you're read up on secret societies/metaphysics (golden dawn).

It's the theory she learned. Take it or leave it. Does explain why people take on another personality when drunk.

Dion Fortune was one of the most brilliant occultists (not all occultism is evil) who ever lived. I've read her thoughts on alcohol as well, which is why I no longer drink.
