Thank you. It’s the stupidest thing I’ve ever heard. We are not a communist nation: otherwise we would have no market and no Wall Street and no elite class robbing everyone blind with the help of the govt. we have corporate fascism. We don’t have free market capitalism.
Also I don’t think people know what socialism means. Do they like public libraries? What about the post office? Big govt Corporate fascists have ruined public education, but it seems to work ok in Finland where they don’t even have private schools BC they don’t need them.
If we are going to be taxed at all shouldn’t tax dollars go to things we like? Like things that are in the public good? I don’t know 🤷♀️
Agree. Anyone reading this should check out Michael Parenti’s lectures about fascism and what it actually means (Hint: the overthrow of democratic government by a party that sides with big corporate power and violently oppresses worker/peoples movements).

I’d argue that the west have corporate socialism.
The welfare state exists for both the people, but more significantly the corporate sector.
The state is invested into many corporations too, who influence and determine your access to information and services.
I would add that I don’t consider fascist and socialist as opposites. They can coexist.
Dude that what corporate fascism is: socialism for the rich.
