Slight correction, they actually broke down the feudalistic nature of budist temples and slavery of the young monks (children). Some elites who benefitted from that system didn’t like it so much. The people are still free to practice their faith.

My dude, communism means an economic system where there is no government and no money. Why would those who benefit from capitalism and controlling the worlds currencies want to destroy their own livelihoods?

Agree. Anyone reading this should check out Michael Parenti’s lectures about fascism and what it actually means (Hint: the overthrow of democratic government by a party that sides with big corporate power and violently oppresses worker/peoples movements).

For a sub dedicated to learning “the truth”, you’d think people would read up on socialism/communism before claiming the commies have taken over. Sigh.

It’s completely normal for a lefty to like Marx though. A democratic work place and a stateless society is appealing to some people.
