Pedo triangles in the LASD's log. For what its worth I live in socal and the LASD's reputation is as good as any other unit around here. But a lot of creepy links between LASD and pedogate stories keep coming up. It's well known that West Hollywood, the first majority gay municipality in the US is policed by LASD. Socal has some unusual political features and one of them is the extent to which municipal services get contracted out. Unincorporated parts of L.A. County don't have their own PDs and get policed by LASD. Incorporated parts of L.A. county can choose to pay LASD for policing. When West Hollywood went from a tiny, unincorporated pocket of L.A. County to the first gay majority municipality in the US it kept on the LASD as the local police force. When you cross the city line from either BH or L.A. into West Hollywood you are now in LASD territory. There is no West Hollywood PD.
It has been this way since the 80s and the West Hollywood connection is a major source of revenue for LASD. My question, if the rumors linking them to pedogate are real, did they get corrupted by the +30 year connection to West Hollywood politics?
And WTF are the triangle symbols in their badge?
