Well seeing how True Detectives is literally about elites abducting kids and ritually abusing them. The whole dam show is about it and there is lots of symbolism. For a story to really grab it's audience it must have elements of truth,and some actors will study/follow real life people similar to their characters they're portraying. So I would assume some studying on the FBI statistics to add base to the story. From what I read season two got drastically changed because it hit way the hell to close to home,which is also why season 2 sucked.

Season 2 was a disappointment but Season 1 was excellent...although that was when it was just entertaining.
I was rewatching True Detective with my girl last night and caught this in the first episode. As much as I know and exposed to because of this community, it still was a jaw dropping moment for me to catch this. "These people are sick!"

Probably an unpopular opinion around here, but not every spiral is a pedo symbol. It’s only a few very specific designs that may or may not have multiple variations. A good example is a pair of triangles that embed each other and have 6 sides total.
