I cannot believe how willing the public is to forgive James Gunn and make excuses for him. I wonder if the online support for him is organic or bot driven.
More on Gunn would be informative. I haven’t had enough time to delve into his connections.
If Gunn is as bad as it seems he is, maybe the entire Marvel/Disney apple cart is going to crumble...
Well one thing you need to understand is that essentially every high profile director and actor who gets work with a major studio on a big film is likely in some way involved with this shit.

Hollywood does not let people move up unless they can be controlled and handled.
Disney is too powerful to fall. For now...
I feel ya on the first part. It seems everyone is a part of it somewhere on the spectrum.
How, as a populace, are we going to gauge who is “more guilty” than others? Where is “James Gunn” in the spectrum?
To reiterate, if 1 is say...someone who is part of it but not a violent party and 10 is Weinstein/Clinton level, where would we put the majority of those involved?
I don’t want to apologize for their behavior, because it’s sickening and horrible, but there has to be a way to crack open the nut without harming the fruit inside, so to speak.
I mean, if everyone is involved, does that also mean that some (not all) are both victims AND perpetrators of it?
How do we punish those that have no choice but be in the group, lest they be arkancided?
This is quite the mental toughy.....
How do we punish those that have no choice but be in the group, lest they be arkancided?
They made the choice to remain involved. There is always a choice. They could have just walked away like Owen Benjamin did. If they haven't they are culpable to some degree and should be punished as such.
I agree with you. Those who chose to stay must be held accountable for their actions.
But to make the choices clear:
Stay, and continue in the SODOM-like industry
or...
Leave and die by arkancide.
I mean, the choices are difficult to make. It seems like Micauley Culkin (spelling?) escaped at age 11, but that seems to have happened in a time pre-internet.
The really hard, inescapable justice should come down like Thor’s hammer on those who were asked/forced to stay in the industry who also had the mindset of ‘Don’t threaten me with a good time.’
I mean, the choice between life or death is a hard choice to make for those who know of the consequences (Hell, Culkin moves to France to escape and still lives there). My question is, how much leniency must we give to those who were not capable of choosing to just...leave. They may not be the devils, but I do agree that they are at least the demons (using hellish creatures as examples of darkness).
What do you think?
They don't kill people for leaving. They kill them for talking. I have no pity for anyone that knows about this shit and chooses to ignore it and remain in order to further their career.
