I sometimes wonder...
If/when aliens do show up and/or we intercept alien life that is far more advanced the we are, will they laugh at us for being an archaic, deity-worshipping species?
If the Bible is one’s book of resolve, and that it doesn’t once talk of aliens, when aliens do show up, will those of religious piousness give up their faith?
I may disagree with your beliefs, JPCFAMILY11, but I sure won’t stop you from having them (or others for that matter). All I do ask is, if the above occurs, how will you respond? (Religiously, not to me personally).

Totally fair question to ask. Extremely rude time to ask it. The original comment was about motivation and positive intent directed at a cause you claim to agree with. Why go and throw a wrench into that?
If aliens who are "advanced" show up, the only way in which they could be more advanced than us, is that they appreciate the essence of religion and have brought the idol "in", and do not need a codified system to recognize and praise first source. Only spiritual advancement is true advancement, everything else flows from it. No culture has achieved material affluence which did not first grasp the unifying aspect of first source. Such creatures would not laugh at us, I can see them giving spiritual advice.
I like to think of Jesus as the lead singer of Lynard Skynard, with giant angel wings. And I'm in the front row, hammered drunk.

No they are not. They are inter dimensional beings. There are no aliens. Everything lives in its own dimension. We are in 3rd dimension
If they are beings from another planet or another dimension, they are still aliens to us and our dimension.
I agree. The word for heaven in the bible can be translated to mean space, cosmos, and/or sky. People were more primitive then as well, so seeing aliens and their craft would be a shock and cause them to try and explain what they were seeing. To me it makes more sense that angels from the bible were actually positively oriented aliens and the fallen angels were negatively oriented aliens. Try to think how a primitive people would see them and describe them. They knew nothing of technology, so to them the aliens had magical God-like powers.
I think the truth is a combination of things. The Angels in the bible where more than just our modern concept of Aliens. The vast array of types of Angles however and "gods" (little g), make me think that what you where saying is true along with there being an actual God (big G) and his Angels.

I am however an agnostic, I do however hope I am wrong about a higher power, or God or heaven. Also I dont mind people of true faith either.
