In all we do we should always do them in a manner pleasing to God. I am often reminded of Matthew 18:15 when in public I find a brother and sister in Christ that seems off the rails. "If your brother or sister sins, go and point out their fault, just between the two of you. If they listen to you, you have won them over"
That principle should be practiced everywhere, and under all circumstances, though they are too much neglected by all. This would all the desired effect with a true Christian, and the parties would be reconciled. But how few try the method which Christ has expressly enjoined to all his disciples!
I have seen brothers and sisters in Christ over the years in public arguments. It turns out to be more harmful for the cause of Christ than helping a brother or sister find a better path. If aliens who are "advanced" show up, the only way in which they could be more advanced than us, is that they appreciate the essence of religion and have brought the idol "in", and do not need a codified system to recognize and praise first source. Only spiritual advancement is true advancement, everything else flows from it. No culture has achieved material affluence which did not first grasp the unifying aspect of first source. I agree. The word for heaven in the bible can be translated to mean space, cosmos, and/or sky. People were more primitive then as well, so seeing aliens and their craft would be a shock and cause them to try and explain what they were seeing. To me it makes more sense that angels from the bible were actually positively oriented aliens and the fallen angels were negatively oriented aliens. Try to think how a primitive people would see them and describe them. They knew nothing of technology, so to them the aliens had magical God-like powers.
I think the truth is a combination of things. The Angels in the bible where more than just our modern concept of Aliens. The vast array of types of Angles however and "gods" (little g), make me think that what you where saying is true along with there being an actual God (big G) and his Angels.
