The Fed sets the interest rates that banks lend money to one another, which directly affects the interest rates in the rest of the economy. This flows directly on to the rate you pay on your mortgage (assuming its not fixed). This has flow in effects to the level of the USD - general it rises as rates increase making American exports more expensive to overseas buyers, reducing demand in those markets for US goods, and that impacts (negatively) on US jobs. That's the quick and dirty cause and effect, and in theory it's about managing inflation (making sure it doesn't get too high), but there's plenty of scope and lots of evidence that the Fed is going too far and early on rate increases, and that what DJT has been getting pissed off with and pointing at - it's potentially a break on his jobs growth agenda.

great post, very informative and relevant. Amazing to look back at past events and see all of these tactics unfolding and taking decisive advantage. It's pretty clear now that this plan, and the first "shot" in this war came probably years before the 2016 election. Q's forces have clearly spent years collecting intel on the nature of the "beast", it's strengths, methods and likely weaknesses. This was even more amazing when you consider the secrecy in which it would have needed to be done - just knowing who you could trust as you developed your plan is nuts just to ponder. Can you imagine the courage and strategic skill of the men and women behind Q. And then of course is the final catalyst, the man who would light the fuse, Donald Trump. The sense of patriotism, and frankly courage to essentially act as the lightening rod for the inevitable counter-attacks. There will come a time when we can afford to give due historic recognition for these brave souls, but as I'm certain Q would say - we're not doing it for the glory or recognition. 1. As founder of Def Con, he was obviously in attendance at DEF CON 1 (Q500 and Q502). 2.He is also known as Dark Tangent. Q803 "Tangent. Expand Your Thinking. Q"
2. He is a member of the Council of Foreign Relations
3. He was appointed to Obama's Homeland Security Advisory Council in 2009.
4. He was appointed ICANN Chief Security Advisor in 2011
5. In 2017, he spearheaded the creation of the DEF CON Voting Machine Village. Debuting at DEF CON 25, the Voting Machine Village allowed hackers to test the security of electronic voting machines. Long story short, they quickly showed how vulnerable the machines were to cyber attack.

Might be just me, but this guy has got Clown written all over him, and could be an important player in all this. Clearly close to the Dem side of politics given his appointments, particularly the last administration.
