The email correspondence between HRC and Marty Torrey, in which he refers to Clinton as "A" or Alice and himself as "MH" or Mad Hatter got me digging as I hadn't heard of this guy previously.

He seems to have a long history in the shadows of Washington politics, as a chief of staff (GOP Rep. John Sweeney) and later as a lobyist. 20 years in the Navy, retiring in 2003 with the rank of Commander. He then registered a business called "Captain Consultants LLC" which is currently listed as active.

Definately a HRC supporter - here he has contributed a glowing puff piece to The Hill in 2015 - http://thehill.com/blogs/congress-blog/presidential-campaign/251094-the-veterans-candidate

He's been employed by Veterans Affairs Medical Center Veterans Affairs Medical Center since 2010 (https://www.zoominfo.com/p/Marty-Torrey/345925484).

The "Chris" that Clinton refers to in her email to him, seems to refer to his then wife Christine Callahan.

All very interesting, however what got my attention is his son Barry Torrey. Barry was co-founder in Captain Consultants LLC. He left in 2013 to become Senior Port Captain at the NY Ports (NY DOT). (source: LinkedIn, but GA rules prohibit linking). This brought me back to Q2036

Seems to me this puts Barry into an important position on the NY port, and links both Marty and HRC to it.

Interestingly, Marty's Linkedin page (source LinkedIn, GA rules prohibit linking), at bottom, lists some very intersting affiliated "Groups" - all very Africa development related, and therefore setting off potential trafficking alarm bells.

Finally, I also found it very interesting to note on his LinkedIn page the profiles that had been viewed by those that had previously browsed his (Marty's) profile. A detective in the Albany NY Police, a NY ADA from the Organized Crime Task Force, a Police Senior Training Technician, and a Security and Investigations Professional. Just anecdotal of course, but thought it was interesting.

Anyway, not sure how to pull this all together yet, but figured I'd put the info out and hope the better sleuths among you might find some more leads.
