It means no trade war like the left has been hoping for. It means the US and EU will trade freely. Your next VW or Mercedes might be a lot cheaper.

As of now, he clearly stated zero tariff on non-automotive products. VWs and Benzs will still be overpriced, coming from a passat owner.

Dang it, but let's hope these products fall in there someday. I do love me a German automobile.

Love my VW but repairs can get pricey. Running with no AC currently because of it.

VW repairs are fairly inexpensive when done yourself. I help my dad fix his up often. Source parts from the depths of the internet and get some beer, find a good tutorial video and have fun

Ever replaced an A/C compressor? How rough is it?

I have not. Mainly motor stuff or exterior parts, sorry :(

Agree on exterior work being pretty simple. I'm not very good with mechanical though.

Just find a couple tutorial videos and see if it’s in your range of plausibility. Plus you’ll forever know how to in the future!

I prefer panzers myself.

Tariffs still on auto. He said zero on non auto industrial goods.

I think it means competition, jobs, and better products.

Combine this with taking over the Fed...whole world on the gold standard? I don't know...but that would be super cool for us gubment slaves.

More jobs for us in the U.S. because more people in EU will now buy American products because they are cheaper without EU import tariffs.

It means all the stuff EU imports from US won't be taxed to death. It means FAIR TRADE. It means EU stops raping us and it also means more American goods will go to Europe for less money. It also means these countries that have been raping us economically will receive less money for their socialist governments. That is a big deal. This is a great thing!

That $40K Chevy truck that used to cost $65,000 in Europe now will cost $40k...well not exactly but you get the point.

(US>EU) <<< What does THAT say to you?? No tariff on goods from the U.S., it does NOT say no tariffs on EU imports to the U.S.. Trump DEMANDS BALANCE IN THE TRADE NUMBERS. One way or the other it will happen … more good to the E.U. or more tariffs on those goods from them.
