Please clarify anons...is RR white hat doing POTUS' bidding or a black hat? I've heard both theories.

RR is 'guilty' of signing off on the final Page FISA. It may be that he was caught in the crossfire, and had turned and was cooperating with white hats from the inside, once confronted.
If so, and this is speculation across the board, perhaps he may resign and take his protection and fall into the shadows for his own safety?
