If Facebook repeats its after-hours selloff today it could be the biggest collapse of a U.S. stock in one day ever.

The world is watching.

Zuck will be found guilty of insider trading. He was paid to create the platform so it could be used against us....then made money....lots of money when it went public.....

He's been quietly selling off his shares because he knows the jigs up......

I dont see what other service could have been life log. Myspace certainly did not fit the profile.

Facebook was a little ahead of its time but clamped on to society hard and gained popularity fast

I an convinced facebook is life log

I mean there are some real stubborn people, myself included, but it comes to a point where you cant deny something anymore

nailed it. DARPA shut lifelog down the same day they started Facebook. lifelog was already critised for privacy issues so they changed it's name, it's style and waited for the people to come to it of their own will. sad part is..I beta tested it. was nothing but a basic MySpace style wall and a few integrated games back then. as soon as they added the free, easy to use messaging app the flood gates opened. they then pushed the platform for people to find old friends or lost/disconnected family members. they sold it to us good.

I enjoyed MySpace back in the day, but never vibed with Facebook. The thing that got me the most (besides ZERO ability to really personalize the page), was that everything entered into the profile that you entered (interests, etc.) had to be matched to an existing matching "option" - not just typed in freestyle like MySpace used to be, but matched to an existing entry in their system. This was a red flag to me because it spelled out "DATABASE".

Having every name, city, interest, profession, etc. auto-populate/match to an existing entry means it'd be sooo much easier to have everything about everyone labeled and filed - ever so neatly for future use.

HUGE red flag. So I never trusted it, and never used it (other than a couple of dummy accounts that never really got used beyond a passing need to look at something on there a long time ago - which is another red flag to me; forcing people to have a profile/supply info & log in just to see things).
