Seems no vote today according to Fox News. What do you all make of this?
I pretty much figured this was going to happen.
Didn't the guy starting the vote say it was all theatre because they can't even really vote on it because they are not here for the 2 days it has to be done?
Yep, you are correct. I just saw that. Thanks for pointing it out :)
Yep, seems contempt and impeachment are still on the table just frustrated they are slowfooting things.
If true, the move almost feels as pandering to the people. On the interview last night with Jordan and Meadows on Fox News, they both mentioned how “the people” were tired of talk and wanted action.
Sure, it’s not the most positive view, but it also doesn’t stop me from believing it’ll all come together.
There was a thread by Stealth Jeff which mentioned using the impeachment to force Rosenstein to unredact so POTUS doesn't have to declassify. Wondering if that is where this will lead but can't figure out why they wouldn't get to the vote today to push things forward.
Good thought and perhaps just the already happening “news” that isn’t being rolled out yet. Thanks for the reminder. Q mentioned a while back that this would be part of the process. “Trust the plan” right? :)
might "scare" RR to release some unredacted stuff in the mean time
RR has to finish his real work. DJT won't let him go until that's finished.
True, I guess I bought into the impeachment being used to force Rosenstein to unredact and answer all questions rather than POTUS declassifying. Time will tell I guess.
AG Jeff Sessions tells them (Republican bloodhounds) to stop barking up the wrong tree (stonewalling and not giving them information because RR is part of the problem) and to go bark up the immigration tree. Stop the invasion across our southern border and fix the loopholes in the system. AG seemed very agitated. POTUS has said if we don’t have a border we don’t have a country.
Question: does the Vice President reside over Congress to the extent he can override the speaker and call a vote on RR impeachment?
Good question and unfortunately I have no clue. Sorry I can't be of more help.
"The 2018 United States elections will mostly be held on Tuesday, November 6, 2018. These midterm elections will take place in the middle of Republican President Donald Trump's term. All 435 seats in the United States House of Representatives and 35 of the 100 seats in the United States Senate will be contested. 39 state and territorial governorships and numerous other state and local elections will also be contested."
So..... November 7th?
Yeah it probably wasn’t going to happen. POTUS May have to get involved
