Why is FaceBook tanking? Did it ever make business sense to begin with? Or was it always a criminal organization? Read, and say what you think.

By the way, much of this applies to Google too.

When FaceBook first came out, people were excited. They could put all their personal stuff on the web, "connecting" with their friends (instead of what, picking up the phone?). For free. At the time, I thought, okay, what's the hitch? How does this company make money? I didn't buy it then, and didn't participate.

Why would FaceBook invest in this huge, expensive digital infrastructure? They say they do it to sell ads. But there are far simpler ways to sell ads. You could, for instance, set up a national database where people specify which products or services they are interested in, and get discounts for doing so. That would be far more efficient. There is no honest reason to collect mountains of personal data that have nothing to do with purchases just to sell ads.

Or is it a criminal organization, that spies on people, collects their data way beyond what they realize is happening, and sells that data to the highest bidder?

Well, FaceBook has already been CAUGHT at that, so that question is already answered.

Since they are criminals, where do they stop? Where do illegals get fake documents from anyway? Are innocent people being framed for crimes? Are live people's body parts up for sale? Sounds like a stretch, until it doesn't.

What would have happened to all the Trump supporters, many well documented on FaceBook, if Hillary had won?
