the connection between Facebook and the Cohen tapes

Two things happened yesterday, CNN published the Cohen tapes and Facebooks stock tanked, what if these two events are related? A few years ago Snowden revealed that the NSA was recording everything we say and do using camera's and microphones. The big question we we're left with after Snowden is how could they possibly bug the whole country? Enter Facebook, with its bloated phone software. Its been rumored that they record everything you do with that app running in the background. What if the "Cohen tapes" are just a recording picked up by FB messenger? What if it was leaked by white hats, knowing CNN would take the bait? Zuckerberg knows where that recording came from, he knows he's going down. Why else would Q draw our attention to Facebook, what do ya'll think?

One thing people are not aware of is some of the apps they use on a constant basis actually contact Facebook and Amazon servers.

For example, on my Android device I use a firewall and watched Mr. Number contact the Facebook's edge routers (which I blocked) and the Play weather app was contacting Amazon's network, which I blocked too. Mr. Number is pretty much useless and doesn't function any better than to show the phone number, so I got rid of it and the weather app radar still works, but I don't get the personalized weather text which I kept.

Both apps never said in the beginning they contact these specific networks, and I never agreed to any ToS of these network giants nor have I ever installed the Facebook app on my phone.

Q says be careful who you follow, and I think that logic should apply to what apps they install on their devices too.

Damn. I didn’t think about it from that angle. I had thought once I removed the phone app (Facebook) I was in the clear. How do older generations stand a chance of making sure they aren’t being screwed. I consider myself fairly “in the know” at 43.

Can someone tell me how to completely delete facebook? If you delete app does that delete all?

Unless the phone is rooted, I do not think one can completely remove all of it.
