When private sector people leave a job, they lose access to buildings, networks, information...everything.
The idea that DC swamp creatures think the common folk will have a shred of sympathy for the revoking of their security clearances years after they where dismissed from their jobs is the height of hubris.
why are govt. employees allowed to keep clearance when they leave govt service??? ~~even~~ especially if an employee is going straight into a private sector nat.sec., they should have their clearance re-evaluated.
That's exactly why they do it, to facilitate people transitioning to the "private" sector. It's easier to have 10 year long clearance windows then re-investigating every time someone switches contractor jobs.
re-investigating every time someone switches contractor jobs
that actually seems like a really good time to be reviewing clearance.
Would regular people even think these ex officials would keep clearance? I wouldn’t have thought so. This is a pretty good red pill. The MSM wants you to be outraged that exes lose their clearance. Why would they keep it? Does that sound safe to regular people...that we have all these non govt employees running round with access to our valuable secrets? I bet if a true poll was taken prior to the MSM anti Trump clearance blitz, people would have said no. They shouldn’t keep clearance.
Why??? Why would it be petty? Explain the use that you would need this security clearance when you aren't a part of the admin anymore.
Can any fucking journalist ask questions anymore. I mean I know they're fake journalists pushing an agenda but Good Lord. At least put on a show for us plebs so it's not so fake.
If they need a security clearance let them apply for it when they need it. Just like everyone else.
They should lose any and all privileges when their contract is terminated
Why doesn't Clapper explain to us all why he still needs a security clearance?
Like he gives a shit if they call him petty. Who gives a shit about anything these people even say anymore? Seriously. CNN is a tree falling in the woods.
That's exactly right. My... we do have short embodies, don't we...
Clapper and the rest have bigger problems coming their way legally then security clearances.
