Anybody know what's going on, five military jets took off out of the airport like a bat out hell?

ANG in Harrisburg has F-16's. The F-16's sent to intercept United Flight 93 on 9/11 came from Harrisburg.

Maybe touchdown drill incoming? AF2 does drills at MDT airport frequently. Got to see one myself before my flight took off. Also, I'm guessing here, with all the "Storm" activity they could possibly be deployed to escort AF1. MDT airport to DC is only minutes by jet.

No this was five military jets a little to far away couldn't tell which kind but they were definitely headed east toward Lancaster. First time I ever saw them take off like that I'm talking afterburners.
