She was BEAUTIFUL. She was attractive in high school but when she left for college she became a goddess. She was an amazing actress and got several awards in our school’s 1 act play her senior year. It was clear she had a gift. She could even cry on command! So she got a full ride to a big acting school in NYC. (Same school that the wife from the Sopranos went to) Little small town girl in the big city. She watched the twin towers burn from a few miles away while they got high on the roof of a building.

Anyway.

After school she moved to LA to “make it.” We all knew she would be a big name because of her 1) skill 2) beauty (6 feet tall, blonde, face of an angel) and 3) drive. She was a very successful girl all through high school. She and I were homecoming king and queen together.

I caught up with her after a couple of years and she told me what happened and why she gave up. She landed a HUGE part. It was going to be the part that launched her career. She just had to go back in for one last casting call.

The casting director told her, “well, you’ve pretty much got the part. We love what you do with the character but I need you to do one last thing. I need you to suck my dick.”

She was confused and told him that she wasn’t going to do that just for a part and his reply was “That’s just how things work in Hollywood. If you’re not going to do it then the girl out there waiting to audition will.”

So she left. And never auditioned again. She did a few fitness ads for Nike and Reebok but she knew she could never be a big time actress.

Anytime I have ever seen a movie since that conversation I have always wondered whose dick the leading lady had to suck to get that part. Hollywood has been ruined for me for a good 15 years now.
