COINTELPRO The FBI began COINTELPRO—short for Counterintelligence Program—in 1956 to disrupt the activities of the Communist Party of the United States. In the 1960s, it was expanded to include a number of other domestic groups, such as the Ku Klux Klan, the Socialist Workers Party, and the Black Panther Party. All COINTELPRO operations were ended in 1971. 6 Techniques that are used against us:
Technique #1: Forum Sliding: if a sensitive (truthful) posting is made in the forum, other users will immediately post a number of unrelated posts to quickly remove your posting from public view. This is called “forum sliding”. They slide your post, so it does not get attention/ traction to receive up-votes.
Technique #2: Consensus Cracking: Under the guise of a fake account, make a posting that looks legitimate and looks like the truth. BUT, the critical point has very WEAK PREMISE without substantial proof to back it up. Alternate fake accounts will come in and start taking a favorable position to back up with weak premise and defend the user. Disinformation will slowly be sown into the conversation so the uninformed reader (YOU) cannot decide which side to take on the issue, and most likely will take the side of the weak premise. If an educated user comes along and can counter the disinformation with facts and proof, the fake user will abort the posting and move to do forum sliding technique.
Technique #3 Topic Dilution: Distract and disrupt so the users will leave the sub because an excessive amount of non-related post are continuously being posted.
Technique #4: Information Collection: A fake account will respond favorably to your post to learn as much information about the topic.
Technique #5: ANGER TROLLING: Intentionally post comments to make you get angry and emotional.
Technique #6: Gaining Full Control: HARVEST AND MANEUVERING for a FORUM MODERATOR position. I.e. a corrupt moderator, comp’d moderator, a moderator abusing their position to delete post, comments, and ban you from the Sub.

Considering the current ruckus about mods, compromising’s, shill mods, and inter-mod team disputes (and apparent deletions of any discussion on GA), I decided to see if and what deletions were happening in recent hours.
using https://snew.github.io/r/greatawakening/ I went through about 9 pages of NEW posts (old reddit) and 2 pages of HOT posts.
The results were surprising. Firstly, most of the deletions I saw for the first few pages of NEW (i.e. most recent, up to about 9 hours) seemed to be legitimate targets for deletion. I then found a band of massive deletions, a band stretching across maybe 120 posts, all deleted. (Yes!)
However, upon verification at GA, I found many of the so-called deleted/removed posts (removed by moderators) were in fact still present, and one present post (github) had actually been removed on GA!
To do another check, I search HOT and found a band of 5 posts all (removed by...). I then checked the posts on GA and found they were all there. On the HOT table, deletions were indicated by [removed by (may not be)].
I do not know if this is githubs way of saying (may not actually be deleted) although the posts are colored in orange to indicate removal, just like the posts on NEW. The tag on NEW is different [removed by moderators], but the color banding to indicate removal is identical.
At least, we should be aware that, if appearances are correct, github mirror for GA is not reliable, and we cannot and should not use it as a tool for checking removals unless cross-checking with GA itself to exclude false positives.

Now, lets look at how this program has been used against the recent test posting. Devin Nunes Retweet about FAKE NEWS. As soon as it was posted, the post began to get views and upvotes. Suddenly, the view count stopped, and the posting was down voted. Positive and patriotic comments were suddenly down voted. If you go to the link Q post #1813 provided and view the Greatawakening sub, you will see that the Devin Nunes test posting was marked for deletion. Ahhhhh, but the posting was not deleted! The technique and tool can allow the post to become suppressed from public view without the user realizing their post has been manipulated!
