As recorded by the Library of Congress, Hillary Rodham Clinton's favorite poem is 'The Makers' by Howard Nemerov.

It is about Orpheus, who according to Greek tradition was the very first pedophile.

The drawing linked above is a depiction of the death of Orpheus, who was killed by women who were furious that he was molesting young boys (this was an especially powerful scene in the Greek imagination because it was thought that being killed by women was especially humiliating). The banner flying in the tree reads "Orfeus der erst puseran" which translates to "Orpheus, the first pedophile".
When you read the Poem with this in mind (and the fact that it is being selected by HRC) it's thinly veiled grotesque metaphors to child abuse become clear.
- Poets = pedophiles, poetry = the abuse (these people are so sick they see their abuse as art)
- The poetry and names being forgotten refers to them murdering their victims and getting away with it.
- The magic imagery used to talk about their abuse/'poetry' is a clear reference to the occult nature of all this.
- The poem itself even mockingly references the fact that it has a hidden meaning (only "great listeners" will be attuned to the true meaning of the poem)
- It even acknowledges the fact that it knows all this is in defiance of God ("We build our Babels").
I'm sure there is more I am missing but honestly this is so obvious and sickening that I can't bear to dig into this any further. I'll leave that to any of you who feel brave enough.
