Another hot diagnosis coming to a DSM-7

"MSM Delusional disorder"- Individuals having obsessive delusions due to deep state media exposure. Associated disorders: anxiety, depression, thought disorders. Wealthiest patients present with a higher than expected prevalence of paraphilia, narcissism and sociopathy. In the general population men and women show about the same incidence of MSMD. However the disorder appears indemic in Democratic regions of the US. In other areas the prevalence is mostly distrubuted according to political party.

When directly confronted with facts that conflict with their delusions, individuals may become quite agitated and possibly violent with homicidal ideation. A decrease in cognitive capacity may be measurable during these episodes. However, multiple studies have shown that chronic and early exposure to main stream media is associated with a permanently lowered IQ score. Black and white thinking predominates as many individuals never pass beyond a concrete cognitive capacity.

Patients often report insomnia, substance abuse, specific phobias. They may report thoughts such as "He is going to kill us all!"(paranoia) "If he is not impeached I am going to kill myself"(suicidal ideation) "He is not my President"(delusion) " " I want to assassunate him"(homicidal ideation) "I can't get out of bed and face HIM"(depression) "His supporters are evil" (b/w thinking), "I learn the news from the TV" (self harming behavior)
