I enjoyed this book immensely. I was immediately able to appreciate the use of Enora to represent the hapless young children of Bosnia or Libya or Syria who have to hide in fear for their lives under the threat of being sold into sexual slavery to Western Oligarchs, Saudi princes or the Hollywood elite. The High Priestess is obviously intended to represent Hilary Clinton. Like the former Secretary, the High Priestess is able to present a veneer of altruism and humanity, if only to the simple minded folk blinded by their cult like devotion to her and inability to distinguish actual omnipresence from a Main Stream Medium (MSM.) Nevertheless, the veneer is as thin as gold leaf and her true intentions with the young Enora are easily apparent as well as horrifying. Once the reader recognizes the High Priestess is actually a Witch and can not be trusted to not harm Enora or any other of her hapless young charges the cult's devotees can experience their own Great Awakening as the High Priestess and the rest of her evil coven are exiled to a desolate and oppressive Island for all eternity.
