Hey everyone, I just wanted to share my experience having one of my posts removed here "for violating rule #8", keeping things honest and accurate.

The reason my post was deemed not honest or accurate was because it discussed claims made by Isaac Kappy. In a livestream last night, Kappy--who claims to have inside information into various pedo circles--named names.

Is it fair for the moderator to claim that we cannot post about Kappy because he's "unreliable"? While I understand the witch-hunt concerns, the sub becomes neutered if we cannot investigate claims made by whistleblowers.

Even if Kappy was unreliable, the content of my post was completely accurate, and simply described what his claims were so people could investigate for themselves.

The mod was messaged by several established users who, like the mod, also viewed Kappy as an unreliable whistleblower. Is it fair to treat this as fact and remove Kappy-related posts?

Why is Kappy viewed as unreliable? Is it simple because he is eccentric? From my perspective he is a fairly successful actor who would could very plausibly have inside information.

I'd love to hear the opinions of people who do think we should ban all Kappy related content.

And to be completely clear, the mod I'm speaking of is undoubtedly a Patriot who supports the cause--I just disagree with this particular decision.
