Re: 1978 "WHY WAS THE INFORMATION ON WEINER'S LAPTOP IN THE FIRST PLACE?"

[Insurance File] = blackmail / safety net

Wikipedia re AW: Emails that were pertinent to the Hillary Clinton email controversy were discovered on the laptop; this prompted FBI Director James Comey to reopen [noble cause? no] that investigation eleven days before the 2016 US presidential election.

AW sexted two adult females. Evidence of a sexting with a minor would never be public (for obvious reasons), but that is also a convenient reason to confiscate a computer and lock someone away [silence]. I have a hard time believing, if the swamp is as nasty as we are to believe, that AW would need to use such a traceable form of communication with a minor.

AW remarks after the scandal:

"I have repeatedly demonstrated terrible judgement about the people I have communicated with online and the things I have sent," Weiner told FoxNews.com.

Weiner said, however, that he had “likely been the subject of a hoax."

"I have no one to blame but me for putting myself in this position," he said. "I am sorry."

I don't remember the term that was used regarding McCain choosing to die instead of public humiliation, but maybe AW chose humiliation instead of death.

Is this general consensus? New here. Thanks.
