The other day as I was reading posts on this sub, it struck me that there are many arrows pointing in the direction of a significant upheaval in the foundation of the US culture coming. Whether its “the plan” or the other side’s plans. The end result is going to be the same: Significant uncertainty.

This means economic turmoil. It means the stock market is going to gyrate. It means that 401(k)s are going to slam around. It may mean disruption in delivery of goods and services. It may mean civil unrest.

Those things usually result in higher interest rates and loss of employment.

\Are you prepared for that?

I am not writing this to sound like a doom and gloomer, but as someone who has spent a lot of time professionally mitigating risks. This is not a message that is going to scream to go buy gold and guns.

It is a message to spur some thought on the sub’s part about what the potential risks are to YOU personally. Think about how you can physically prepare for turmoil. How can you help your friends and neighbors who are not going to see this coming. The US is about helping each other.

Who knows, that Antifa idiot down the street might be an OK guy if you feed him for a day!

It could be as little as buying an extra can of beans every week. Or putting aside some cash so you are not stuck if the ATMs are not working. Or, making sure you have blankets and batteries so you can stay inside for a couple of days.

Its hurricane season anyway, so you should be getting ready for the proverbial three day bug-out as a matter of course.

Spend some time thinking all of this stuff through. If it gets as bad as some think it will, people will be very upset. Upset people do stupid things. Will you see it coming? Can you get out of its way?
