Perhaps you'll find a handful of zealots but what with US troops still stationed in Germany (iirc), I just don't see it happening. Unless they're going to recruit blacks and Muslims but their combat record speaks for itself…
The problem is that their low IQ's make them pisspoor combatants so the odds of their using cutting-edge equipment to wage war efficiently are low. The elites will probably cut their gibs and free stuff and then tell them it's the Europeans' doing, which leads to war.
The US could usher in a naval embargo or a no-fly zone - remember that these Africans can't even build their own rafts to make it across the Mediterranean with. Cut the EU's supply lines and you've already stacked the odds in your favor significantly.
30,000 Iraqi soldiers cut and ran when a few hundred jihadis stormed Mosul (I believe). Morale is key to the outcome of the war. Plus, I find it a stretch to say every single one of them wants to die a martyr. Going back where they came from may seem preferable to duking it out. The important thing is that we Europeans not get in over our heads.. my people have guns from the last war buried in the woods all over the country.
Luckily for us EU countries don't have state-of-the-art military equipment unlike the US and its jaw-dropping airforce. When you are king of the skies, your foes can't move an inch without getting blown to pieces. My only worry is anti-air defense, I know Serbia was able to shoot a couple bombers out of the sky while getting carpet-bombed. Whatever happens, outwitting the enemy is key to winning.
