Sadly, it is not just US Govt officials either. It begins with the local law enforcement that are compromised, the local banks that turn a blind eye to the money-laundering, the local business owners that look the other way (motel/truckstop owners), etc. It is all truly a cancer in our society.
Yeah, I guess I just kind of assumed that people had already figured out the obvious, but apparently not. Ugh. Thanks for pointing out to everyone. Hopefully they'll get it.
