Switzerland doesn't make sense to me.
If he was exfiltrated by US military most logical would be a US base, or a ship.
Also, maybe a factor, don't know, if he requires medical treatment closest, best and most secure would be Ramstein/Landstuhl in Germany.
Not hard to imagine a medical condition arising under the conditions he was in.
So think UK airbase first drop, Ramstein 2nd drop, then CONUS after treatment (if needed.)
