Just watched an interview with Corsi. I'm sure he had a great career, but he's pretty old. Not like 50-old. Like 80-old.
I kinda doubt if he ever planned on staying for the whole game. Was doing everybody downtown a big favor by clearing out before the game was over. Atlanta traffic is already a perpetual cluster. The Merchandise Mart has their big January show going on this week too, and that means another 100K people jammed into downtown along with the football crowd, plus all the thousands of people without game tix that showed up just to mill around.
Damn happy to see this event in the rear view mirror. They must have been so glad to get on AF1.
Must have been a sweaty event for Secret Service; I don't envy them. Good job, people.
Friends who went to the game were saying it was an hour & half wait to clear security line to get into the stadium at 5:30 this afternoon.
