No screenshots for now, I will be poking around to see if there's a better app, one with clearsign support. In the meantime, if you'd like: download gpg4win from a reputable site.
-
Install w/ Kleopatra
-
Run Kleopatra, choose File->New Key Pair
-
Follow steps to making a key pair similar to the screenshotted command-line instructions. Click 'Advanced' to get some of the features like keysize.
-
Click ok/done to get back to main application
-
Right click your new key which should be in the list, choose 'Export' to save your public key as an ASCII text file. Open it with notepad and paste it here.
-
Kleopatra has no clearsign function. Open a command line window with 'cmd'.
-
notepad newfile.txt [enter] and then fill out the file with the message
-
gpg –clearsign newfile.txt
-
Same instructions as per linux instructions. Dump contents of newfile.txt.asc
