George Carlin used to say "I'm here for the show". And what a show this is! What's unfolding is like the best of Tom Clancy and Neil Stephenson x 10.

Which is to say it feels scripted. The star of the show is a reality TV star, known for firing people.

Some have postulated that we are living in a computer simulation. Sometimes I feel like a puppet on a string, driven by external forces.

I hope that much is revealed about conscienseness, and our true nature and origins.
