Are they seriously going to try to raise that metal plane from 18,000 feet deep in the ocean? Why?
For a comparison I am an occasional scuba diver. I am not supposed to go deeper than 100 feet or so because the pressure is too great, weird gas things start happening in my blood stream. Everything looks blue and black at 100 feet.
This plane is 180 times that deep.
Certainly hope they don't get much of the business. They used to say Magic had HIV. Now they forgot about that, strange.
I had a black friend in a large city one year while I was in college. He wasn't college educated but just a fun guy. We went out to clubs and other things together.
A few years later I was back in town and looked him up. He was very hard to find, had cut himself off from the white crowd he used to run with. Seemed to regress, now he was resentful and not very happy I located him. Seemed I didn't know him any more, not the same guy at all, didn't want to remember old times. No mutual desire to meet again.
It seems nice to me that we're not expected to save or reach out to all such people. They're a nasty bunch and have their own reasons for what they do. They are responsible for their actions.
As long as we can build a working society, if they don't join it then they should be dealt with in a legal way that imposes least cost on others.
Yeah he is. He's toxic. I hope he doesn't get any grants, and he's aiming to make that outcome as difficult as possible to achieve.

Trump OK'd state of emergency for New England for coastal flooding associated with this storm, at the same time as he OK'd it for California for their fires a couple weeks ago. Maybe there's funding already for these storms.
If Dems blocked storm relief funding for TX and FL did they say they wanted it for PR?
Seems to me they shouldn't be getting any infrastructure grants.
