Actually it's real. Reagan loved Jelly Beans, and the owner of that company sent cases of them to the Governor all the time. This is from when he was Gov. of Ca.
I think it carried over to the White House later, but not sure of that.
Reagan always had a big jar of jelly beans in his office.
