I still believe "this" was given as a connection.

The Priory is likely directly related to Knights Templar feuds and the "The Key".

Though as WW noted, essentially all digging on the Priory of Sion turns out to be rabbit holes and dead ends.

It could be speculated that we were simply to be made aware of this organization.

This "could" possibly play into the Sinclair / McLeod Freemason rivalry.

Does Q have connections to the Priory of Sion, or do those close to Q?

1 can only "guess".

1 thing is certain, there is a tremendous amount of disinfo surrounding the Priory, and that leads me to believe it's incredibly relevant.
