This series was an integral part of my "waking up" there was indeed a lot of controversy surrounding this man and his writings, but I found a lot of knowledge and shaman understanding with in. How to collect and maintain your own personal power. They respect and appreciate the Earth and hike a bunch and take peyote (not as much as what the naysayers of the book series think) They learn how to travel innerdimetionally and wake up there Lucid body to help in awakening their physical body. Trippy stuff!
My favorite line of Don Juan of the whole series is : "We know that we are waiting, and we know what we are waiting for"
That has been a good mantra for if I ever i feel impatient about our mission.
