I can see your point, anon. You have indeed presented thoughtful counterbalances and the philosophy stuff is incredibly valuable for a wider understanding of the big picture.
I was impressed with the cult parallels you drew. Very skillful. It's all about context, motivations and objectives isnt it. What are people motivated to do within this group? Learning and growing individually is not usually encouraged by cults. Here it is exactly what we are doing.
Back to the idea of how a weapon can be an instrument of death or a defender of life. Depends how you use it. Anything can be either a gift or a curse, depending on who receives it.
Assigning monikers, as you put it - doesn't take away anonymity. On the higher level, it helps us to understand one another better so we can work together. In fact, I'd suggest that using widely known movie archetypes enhances anonymity. We can know the 'essence and personality' of our fellow anons, which is pretty valuable for sharing, discussion and learning - and dispense with the curiosity to know IRL-type things about them. I think it gets us the best of both worlds, personally.
As to 'selfishness of Ra' - well nope that is not the domain of Ra. Perhaps it is that of Kek, who along with the other supreme beings on the dark-light spectrum, also plays an important role in the battles of principalities and powers. At any rate, I believe it's disrespectful to tell a Supreme Being to f off. Your choice though :)
Sowing doubt and attempting to introduce division is actually a gift to us (remember it's all in how one takes it ;)). It's a part of our tests, in my view.
Can we see it for what it is?
Do we understand the point of view being presented?
Are we able to appreciate the thoughtfulness or thoughtlessness of the assertions?
Are the assertions true? If true, should we make adjustments in our digging or sharing?
If false, why? What makes them false?
^^That, my allies - is how you turn a perceived attack into an amazing learning opportunity.
Thank you anon, for this most excellent of gifts. I salute you and your intellect.
