I've just watched the new movie Annihilation on netflix. They are focusing alot on glasses of water several times, and the whole movie is really wierd. Age of Aquarius reference maybe? They touch subjects like consuming eachothers souls and there is a very strange scene close to the end.

Are they trying to potrai something good/bad about this whole ascension phenomena?

Just felt there is more to this movie than meets the eye..
