For myself, I respect human beings. Irrespective of gender. Man bashing makes me really uncomfortable and I try to never participate. I think this artificial gender war just weakens us all. Loving and appreciating our fellow people can only bring strength. I like it when a man opens a door for me (especially if my hands are full lol), and I also like opening a door for a man (sometimes that gets me a weird look). I think gender roles can be a trap. And equality and fairness are not the same. Gender equality - this is impossible. Gender fairness - now that's more like it. Anyway - that might be a rabbit hole for another discussion. Leads into divine masculinity, feminity and the balance that is our end goal.
