Sometimes I forget you have a human part of you that weeps when you hear inspired music.. it's those parts of our humanity we should treasure in my opinion. The power of music as well as lyrics is indescribable, and rightly so.
It's funny you mentioned music at the end because I was just thinking about requesting a thread specifically for music.. this board has never shied away from music as a TOOL and I have mentioned before how music has helped facilitate my own deficient facilities when it comes to meditation.
I think a thread with all the aggregate information regarding music, as well as open discussion to the interpretation of lyrics and recognize from whence they originate, something along those lines would be an excellent resource for both ALL, no matter how enlightened you may think you are.

why do I think this is important?
because if we focus only on the most extreme edges of esoteric thought and stay there, we not only run the risk of falling into the trap of thinking we are above those that are "less enlightened" while simultaneously alienating those that would otherwise have gained so much than they know from the things we discuss here.

This is why I believe Carl Jung to be vastly superior to Freud when trying to understand what "consciousness" is. For one, Carl Jung is readily willing to trust his INTUITION over his scientific understanding, and for this he was shunned by Freud and his croneys aka the field of Psychology for his entire life.
I see Carl Jung to Freud as Tesla is to Edison.
