Since there are no coincidences, i just looked it up. A haiku is composed of 17 syllables. Thank you so much for sharing this wonderful poem. I absolutely loved it. I don't know very much poetry at all, and this was a gem. Have a haiku, know you are loved!
Wild hunch guessing try
Rhyme eye spotted in passing
New Anon welcome
Expectantly, we scan it all,
for signs that the storm nears.
Sharing news and spreading thoughts,
been doing it for years.
And if it takes a lifetime
through the patience learned I'll know
This time will only be a waste,
if I refuse to grow.
So gather round me, foes and friends.
