Carl Jung Freud
Understanding Carl Jung's ideas is key to understanding what is happening here.
There is a pile of salt by door, feel free to take a few grains before we start.
Required reading:
>The Red Book
The Red Book isnโt a philosophical, scientific, religious, or literary book. It is an unclassifiable work with prophetic and mythical nuances that allows for multiple interpretations. It requires multiple approaches if you want to understand or even enjoy it. It is, at the end of the day, a great gem that is worth reading after you understand a little bit more of Jungโs theory
Recommended supplementary reading:
>Man and His Symbols
>Collected Works v9
and the rest.

*Edit: I am not trying to turn this board into a Jungian cult, remember to take your salt. That being said, Jung knows his shit. If you dont know, now you know . Enjoy.
*Edit 2: For a more "practical application" of Jungian theory look into

warning: this is going to be frustrating, just keep at it. Suggest you read before you try anything. This technique is, by nature, much more dangerous than simply mediating or lucid dreaming especially when attempted by a novice without supervision. Short of finding a guide (and you can go that route if you choose), the next best strategy is to understand clearly (by virtue of having READ) what you are doing before you jump in the water. Be warned.
