Okay so I am intrigued by what this thread might be and might do but I haven't read any of it - I want to know in your own words what the intent and purpose of this board's discussions are, what sort of discourse one might expect and how batshit is it all in your honest opinion(s) before I invest my time and read that mountain of text

I see post #401 so obviously a new board, haven't seen it in the catalog until just now which is how I wound up here. Give me the cliff notes version of what this board is and will do and I'll see if it's something I can get on board with.
