I think the Stephen Hawking black hole theory was used by CERN to set up their Deep Underground Neutrino Experiment (DUNE). This is the thing that supposedly can contact parallel universes and perfect time travel.
Is this a safe thing to do? Hawking seemed rather concerned about it. Then he passed on. Timing was pretty interesting.
