I hope you guys are remembering to pray? It's on of the few, if not only, direct orders that Q has asked for all of us, that we can all do, no matter who we are. Prayer is a form of meditation. Prayer is done in secret, in ones "quiet place", both physically and metaphysically.

It's about manifestation. Ask and you shall receive, yea?

It's not just about asking for this or that for selfish reasons. It's best (I think, in my opinion in any case) to pray/ask for things from a place of pure unconditional love, with emphasis on the UNCONDITIONAL. i.e. not from a place of LACK.

"I dont have enough money gimme more money please"

"I don't have enough love more love please!"

etc.

this is why (imo) prayer is most effective when it is done for others. In other words, recognizing how blessed we are (instead of focusing on what we do not have, and if one is rich in spirit then you already know that there is plenty to be thankful for, all the time). By all means pray for things that you want and need as well, but KNOW THYSELF well enough to know when you are asking for something because of a feeling of LACK. YOU HAVE MORE THAN YOU KNOW!

I have recently gotten into the habit of naming the people in my life by name, being thankful for what they bring to my life, and then asking the spirit to help them in whatever unspoken or unseen struggles they are going through at the moment. At first I only did my family and loved ones, but over time I focused more on the people that I had issues with.. after I got through all the people that loved and supported me already of course lol

Think Arya in HBO's Game of Thrones (which is a neat show, I think) how she lists off the people she wants to kill before she sleeps.. except the other way around.

People (including those that wish me harm) that I hope for the best for regardless of ..whatever

it takes a while.. but it's always a very fulfilling experience.. you guys should try it as well!

if nothing else, it is a good exercise in raising ones vibration, if you are the type that thinks prayer is .. stupid or something. Why are you still reading then?

I wanted to start this thread because I have started to name people here in my prayers as well from memory..

Strange, Mordo, WW, Antman, Lucky, .. etc

my memory isnt that great so I had the idea for this thread: If you respond to this thread in any way, I will take that you don't mind being included in my prayers and will be sure to include you. I may keep a running list as well if the list of names gets long.

And even if you just stay anonymous and therefore cannot be named by name, I always make sure to thank and bless the anons as well so I gotchu covered bud!

Also, if any of you have specific prayer requests, please feel free to share with as much detail as you are comfortable with and I will pray accordingly!

This is not just a public service announcement, and although I wouldn't ask any of you to do anything against your free will, if you are so inclined (or if prayer is a part of your daily ritual as well) do join me in praying for the members of this board, and the things we are trying to accomplish as a collective whole!

I know that nobody is using their real name or face here, but the spirit understands what the intention was, we simply have to speak our truth in prayer and thanksgiving and our advocate in heaven will do the rest.

A prayer candle I set up and lit a few days ago has almost finished its course.

I don't know anything about candle magic, I made this set up purely on intuition.. and probably was at least a bit of wasted effort on my part LOL but its the THOT the counts yea?

Everything in this setup has meaning, at least to me, and I'll just briefly go over some of the more prominent features that one can see here.

It's laying on a circular base that is a framed bit of calligraphy 感謝 meaning "thanks and gratitude", signifying the foundation of my/our prayers.

Two silver chains, and a bright orange cord creating a 6 pointed star of David.

One of the silver chains (the shorter) is a catholic crucifix which I placed FACE DOWN and WITHIN the overall star of David shape, to signify the PERSONAL, humble aspects of the crucifixion/dark night of the soul/death and rebirth, while the longer and more flashy chain with the ornate cross fitted with emeralds and rubies is just OUTSIDE the star of david, on the bottom end, denoting how we try and present ourselves with LOVE etc to be a shining beacon for others. As within, so without, yea? This ornate cross makes up the bottom of the star of David as well, to represent that although we are children of God, it is through this spiritual Gnosis that we stay GROUNDED, to stave off the temptations of ego and all that jazz.

The smaller chain with the crucifix is also linked to a heavy silver biker ring that has an image of the Archangel Michael overcoming Lucifer, which is also naturally part of the Within part of the silver lining, I mean chain.

I'm just going to glaze over the rest..

The orange chord is orange. It has a tigers tooth (from Thailand, the land of great peace as it were, when written in Chinese characters)

Orange and Tigers have meaning.

Bracelet, with 7 various gemstones in different colors, complemented by 13 smaller bits of black tourmaline.

Sitting on a matchbox that you can't see but has the character for Love 愛 stamped on it. Below the matchbox is a Good luck charm and a illustrated image of (someones) hometown.

Under the candle itself, is a ring made of a 1887 morgan silver dollar that has the words "e plurbis unum" (old timey way of saying WWG1WGA), and "In God we trust" plainly visible along the outer and inner edges. This is all on top a folded up hand written list of prayer requests and petitions (including the names of you lot^^) which I will burn away as well when the candle has run it's course.

Again, I didn't read a "HOW TO CANDLE MAGIC" guidebook.. although I am aware that candles and prayer and magic have long been associated with eachother.. I couldn't be bothered to do what someone else said was the right thing to do so I just went about collecting bits of things that seemed like it would fit and put this all together.. and it came out rather nice, so I just wanted to share.

I take prayer fairly seriously.
