I have a theory. I think electricity/light can indeed be faster than linear time. See the pic for reference. Linear time can only travel in angles. Electricity /light travels in spirals in 3d. The hounds represents the guardians of the edges of linear time in Astral travel and the Astral traveler travels through electricity currents which are spirals therefore travels faster than linear time. It also could mean you could travel past the edges of linear time therefore allowing you to see the future.

They help us by Astral traveling through time using electricity /light and are ethereal because of how they Astral travel. They may be from the future or from the past. They respond to Docs contact protocols due to there form and that's why if you are pure of heart/light they respond to you.
