Now there’s some corporate horsecrap. Virtue signaling much? Why so much repetition of ‘strong, independent’?
At the link above, take a skim-read of their corporate code of ethics. Methinks they doth protest too much. Check the pictures on the left side of page 4. Dude slipping Benjamins into his blazer followed by hand gesture refusing a red gift box. What’s the message? Don’t take stuff, take cash only? LOL. Also, look at the language around political contributions, government officials and illegal payments. Isn’t this a tad excessive for a company that makes lift trucks and forklifts?
Notable (from Bloomberg above):
Hyster-Yale Group, Inc. Wins $400 Million Federal Contract
Jun 11 17
Hyster-Yale Group Inc. was awarded a $400 million federal contract by the Defense Logistics Agency for material handling equipment for the U.S. Army, U.S. Navy, U.S. Air Force, U.S. Marine Corps and federal civilian agencies in North Carolina, Kentucky, Italy, and the Netherlands.
DEFENSE LOGISTICS. Also, Italy and the Netherlands.
Why those countries? What is there?
Who facilitated this contract?
Why is a (presumably US) federal contract covering off ‘federal civilian agencies’ in other countries?
What is a ‘federal civilian agency’ anyway?
Is it this? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Central_Intelligence_Agency
What part do lift trucks play in defense?
Is this really about US national security?
Italy is the home of many black hat crime families. Oh and don’t forget the VATICAN. Netherlands seems to be pretty heavily infiltrated with the deep state/cabal as well. Maybe that’s why all the focus on bribery in their corporate ethics handbook. LOL.
Bloomberg description doesn’t seem quite right, or this piece is twisted. http://www.cleveland.com/business/index.ssf/2012/06/nacco_to_spin_off_hyster-yale.html
FUEL CELLS. What are these used in? https://www.nuvera.com/blog/nuvera-fuel-cells-acquired-by-hyster-yale-materials-handling
Hyster-Yale believes it will become the first major lift truck company committed to full deployment of fuel cell motive power and on-site hydrogen generation and supply solutions for the material handling market. Nuvera, a leader in developing hydrogen solutions for industrial mobility, transportation, and industrial gas markets, offers unique capabilities to integrate fuel cells with lift trucks based on its prior development of PowerEdge™ hybrid fuel cell power packs.
Where would zero-emissions energy as in that offered by fuel cells be extra useful? Underground?
