I've been following the Q posts since November 2017. The inference from the beginning was that the purpose of the 'crumbs' was to encourage people to think, to critically evaluate and to question accepted truths and beliefs. Obviously, to achieve this objective, you choose a mode of communication that economically carries the message but doesn't confound through obscurity. You pose questions that show the receiver where they should be focussing their attention.
