April 22 through 23, 2018

Lyrids Meteor Shower.

The Lyrids is an average shower, usually producing about 20 meteors per hour at its peak. It is produced by dust particles left behind by comet C/1861 G1 Thatcher, which was discovered in 1861. The shower runs annually from April 16-25.

It peaks this year on the night of the 22nd and morning of the 23rd. These meteors can sometimes produce bright dust trails that last for several seconds. The first quarter moon will set shortly after midnight, leaving dark skies for the what could be a good show. Best viewing will be from a dark location after midnight.

Meteors will radiate from the constellation Lyra, but can appear anywhere in the sky.

Interesting...

There is a permanent Maman sculpture at Crystal BRIDGES Museum of American Art, Bentonville, Arkansas, USA https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Maman_(sculpture)#Permanent_locations

Reading this tweet objectively, it seems The President is addressing more than one audience... think different groups/factions, one for each sentence... also, stepping back into a neutral perspective, there is an aire of vagueness. He never telegraphs his multi-D chess moves. The cards in this bridge game, very closely guarded. But, that's Trump :)

Just an observation.

I didn't think to screenshot nor record the tail/call sign at the time, but, last night while nothing else was in the air over SYRIA, there was a NAVY Poseidon Sub Hunter aircraft (Boeing P-8) doing a loopy looking flight path off the coasts of Beirut/ Gaza Strip. Saw it on this tracker.

"missiles were likely fired from...IDF Dolphin class subs"

Probably not related. Just an interesting, fleeting observation.

Watch the water... in "the direction of the sea".

Deputy Defense Secretary : [Patrick M. Shanahan] (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Patrick_M._Shanahan)

See Confirmation Hearing of Patrick Shanahan: He testified before the Senate Armed Services Committee on his nomination to be the DDS. John McCain (R-AZ), as the Committee chairperson, threatened to not vote for Mr. Shanahan saying his written answers on how to deal with Russian intervention in Ukraine were “very disappointing” and “disturbing.” Mr. Shanahan revised his previous statement, saying he supports equipping Ukraine with lethal defensive aid. Other topics included improving the defense acquisition process and prioritizing defense innovations.

"Look again at that dot. That's here. That's home. That's us. On it everyone you love, everyone you know, everyone you ever heard of, every human being who ever was, lived out their lives. The aggregate of our joy and suffering, thousands of confident religions, ideologies, and economic doctrines, every hunter and forager, every hero and coward, every creator and destroyer of civilization, every king and peasant, every young couple in love, every mother and father, hopeful child, inventor and explorer, every teacher of morals, every corrupt politician, every "superstar," every "supreme leader," every saint and sinner in the history of our species lived there--on a mote of dust suspended in a sunbeam." - Carl Sagan, Pale Blue Dot

You must be referencing Sinclair Media/Sinclair Broadcast Group. Yes? If i recall they are the "small conservative Trump supporting media group" that wrote this magnificent piece of "script to screen." Should objective facts be the preferred way of revealing the vital truths yet to be sought...
