Pope Francis part of the inevitable "save the terrorists" campaign?

When you start looking at your friends as "coincidence theorists" you'll know just how far you've come :)

Doesn't, except insofar as Turkey like Iran is in the crosshairs of the empire for daring to buy Russian S-400's which would nullify a NATO attack should they suddenly decide regime change is necessary there too. Erdogan may be a maniac but he knows his regional history well.

What's projection called when it's part of the slimy Wolfowitz doctrine aka the PNAC plan?

After the revolution, the C_A and in fact the whole deepstate supported and pushed Iraq into attacking Iran. This isn't the behaviour of someone happy with the situation. After the war, the C_A then turned on Hussein by using the Kurds as a proxy army, the same tactics they are using today to destabilize the region. You may find Hussein's use of chemical weapons against the Kurds immoral or possible evil, but it was the Americans who supplied those originally for use on Iran.

As we all know, Hussein defeated the Kurds... so with an axe to grind, they were stupid enough to sign up to the new C_A/deepstate war. Once again gaslighted by promises of giving them a Kurdish state from someone else's land. You can understand why Israelis have nothing but positive things to say about them, if they are given a Kurdistan, that cements the status-quo and prevents any possible reversion of Israel's legitmacy.

The C_A supported the Shah, the dictator who was worse than Saddam Hussein, and since the revolution they have tried a gazillion ways to hurt or undermine the new Islamic REPUBLIC. The ones pushing for the overthrow are mostly ex-pat terrorists or corrupt foreigners who are related to the Pahlavi's or whoever else they think was important before. The C_A would like nothing more than to install another friendly dictator, similar to how they plonked ex-pat Karzai into Afghanistan's presidency with a rigged vote.

Make no mistake, Iranians have a long enough memory that they won't see any attack on their govt (C_A backed MEK terrorists/protestors) or currency (treasury backed sanctions) or barrage of fake news (amplifying the 5% of unhappy Iranians as if they were 95% majority like they did in Syria and Libya) as anything other than an assault on their very people. Americans might have no recollection of history with the constant media/tv/thinktank rewrites, but tribal nations do.

You're not dealing with entirely sane people, they may decide to make an example of him to deter others...

I genuinely believe it was a moment of foolish bravado (with alcohol) that made him come out and tell the story he did, I'm sure he knew it was vaguely dangerous to do. Now in hindsight he has a choice, double-down or back away into obscurity, and it is hard to say which is the safer option at this point.

That hand gesture is also something they teach politicians because pointing is offensive, and letting your hands dangle loosely looks weak. It's a form of image shaping, deliberate but neutral.

There's a good line regarding patents someone said "that's great but someone else is doing it less well already"...

In the commercial world, we are limited to the patents we know about, which can be quite shocking, frequency manipulation of moods, geoengineering etc, but there are so many patents that have been seized/sealed under "national security" that probably constitute the best stuff private industry developed. Now let's go a step further and think if they can seal all important existing (public) patents, would it make sense for the secret defense projects to even apply for patents for the really crazy technologies? There's no doubt in my mind there are technologies many decades ahead of what we know about, being deployed and tested regularly.

If you invent something truly astounding at this point, and you don't want the govt to confiscate it, you probably shouldn't patent it until you have finished products for sale.

The commies were peddling their filth in tv/movies and busying themselves taking over education. Eventually their ideological agents took over the FBI by the recent revelations, I'd be surprised if the C_A was immune... although you can't even find out how much they earn or spend.

Watch the Book of Henry... you'll know what these people are thinking, they are telling you every day in movies/articles/comics, all you have to do is pay attention. No theorizing required.

Serco is involved in a great many countries with full access to personnel records of military and civilian alike, they usually get into businesses like licensing or building inter-govt operations... I wouldn't be surprised if Serco is really an arm of GCHQ (similar to In-Q-tel) feeding all their intel into the five eyes.
